Task
At the UAE Pavilion, an initiative of the Presidential Foundation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), we provided comprehensive coordination for the project centered on interior design and fixture production for Process Iguchi Co. We played a multifaceted role in the project, liaising with multinational partner companies, supporting the production of furniture that combined tradition and technology, and providing additional support during the operation.

The end client was the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation, a private foundation of the president and king of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). I was also in charge of project coordination after negotiations with a major foreign general contractor, a British consulting firm, a German design firm, a Danish exterior design firm, and a Japanese JV.

For the interior construction and fixture production, we supported the design and manufacturing of custom-made furniture that blends traditional UAE materials and design with Japanese technology. Working with craftsmen in Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and traveling back and forth between Okawa City and Osaka, we were able to create a high-quality space within limited time and conditions.

Furthermore, we are flexible to provide operational support during the exhibition period, including maintenance of exhibits, additional fixtures, and VIP support. It was an honor for us to play a role in sublimating the vision and culture of the UAE into the space through manufacturing.

We are not just a consultant or partner, but will lead projects responsibly as a "bridge between culture, design, and manufacturing.
